How do I jumpstart a 2013 RS?

Dear all,
My 2013 RS ran out of battery because it sat in the garage too long, but I don't know how to jumpstart or charge the battery, please advise?

First off what will you use to jump start your Spyder?
Next how old is your battery?
Do you have a 1 or 2amp charger?

Or just take the battery out and replace it!!

To begin with go to Harbor Freight and purchase a battery tester. Second, buy their little 4-amp battery charger/maintainer, and lastly, buy their small jump pack kit. It comes in a small case that fits perfectly in the bottom of your trunk. Don't forget to take it out and charge it up at least once a year. With these items and proper use, you'll be well equipped to solve any battery issues. Replace your battery if it won't charge up or hold a full charge. Good luck.

I finally have a battery that crapped out on me. I think removing it really probably isn't that hard but if you have any ideas that might be able to help me that would be greatly appreciated. It's a 2012 Semi-Automatic RS Model. I googled it but it doesn't seem to be any information for the life of me.

That thread should help for a 2012 and earlier RS, but it won't for 2013+ Spyder, cos BRP changed the battery location, from under the seat to behind a panel in the frunk, for ALL Spyder models with the advent of the 2013 models.
