How do I access/remove the rear saddlebag cables to lube them? '21 RTL

Ok, thanks to all who helped me on the last question I had on this, it's always appreciated.
Now I've been able to use spray lube on the lever, latch mechanism, and even adjust the cables half a turn. Things are great... but as always, that leads to more questions.

How do I access the cables to be able to use a cable lube tool and lube the cables themselves? Looks like I actually have to take the bag apart... or off? I'm hoping to be able to access an end and get the tool on there. I imagine it would be the same process as replacing them...

I see some videos in YT, but didn't find one for a 21 RTL.

TIA

Myself I will take the highest end of the cable and put a few drops of oil at that point. If it looks like it's going into the cable sheath, I put in a little more. If not, I'll work the cable in and out with the handle and let it soak, it will find its way down. I like using an oil container that has a pipette on it so that I can use a little pressure to help things along. Good luck.

Yeah but I can’t reach up there. That’s why I’m asking as if they had to be replaced… if I could get at them your idea would be perfect.

After looking at the break down of the saddle bags of that year I see what you are up agents, you're going to have to peel it back like an onion. The latch looks higher than the release lever. Sure, isn't the same as a 2012, good luck. Sorry I wasn't much help!

I believe there was a recall on early 2021 models for the fitting of stainless cables to the saddlebags. Modern cables should not be lubricated as it affects the lining material causing sticking.
