• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How difficult?

Quick question while waiting for my Comfort Seat to arrive...is it easy to change seats or should the dealer do it? I'm not a great mechanic but I can read and follow instructions.

Totally agree. You can do it. The instructions are easy, and it goes into place where the stock seat was. Just change the wiring connections for the passenger sensor and the seat prop shock over. PS, I am not mechanically inclined--but did it myself anyway on the spouses bike to save some installation dollars. My time was about 1 hour, 1 cigar, and one soda. You will like the feel and looks compared to the stock seat. For the money, it is a pretty good seat.

I bought mine at my dealership....they matched the lowest ebay price...I had them install it...so, they made some back on me with labor...that's fine...it's on right and it's a great seat...

Enjoy...you'll really like the difference from the stock seat...

Mind took 3 cs of beer, 2 bottles of scotch plus a bottle of vodka over a 4 day period. Could have cut it down to an hr. but I kept passing out.:yikes:

to CASER: I like your seat installation much better than mine. I will try your method next time I put something on. O, yeah, I do have a new set of glo riders to install.

Rut Roe...the instructions are for putting the seat on a bike that does not have the passenger backrest installed. Mine does, maybe I should take it to the dealer.

With the backrest it's just 6 hex bolts (2 on the underside and 4 inside the mount) that need to be removed. It's easier to do this than pop out and back in the stock tailpiece.
