• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How difficult is it to install a cigarette lighter plug for Garmin GPS.

Just bought a 2019 RT Limited. There is a spot on right side inside top case that could be used for. Plug but better would be next to rocker switch for heated grips. How difficult is this to install? What body parts need to be removed, best wires to hook up to, etc.

There is a GPS connection that is part of the wiring harness beneath the seat. I'm uncertain which side of the roadster it's on in the '19 RT.

I have a 2011 roadster, and my plug is under the seat, to the SAE connector for the battery tender. Lives in the void under the glovebox. When not in use, wiring coils up under the seat and SAE connector is ready for tender. So far the rig has been waterproof, and in use since 2011. Not sure what your underseat is like since you have a 2019, but you probably can get by with no cutting or drilling.

You can tag the power off the lighting circuit, its only on with the ignition. A GPS doesnt draw much so as long as you dont plug in anything else, it wont be an issue. Someone had mentioned putting it in the grill so that is what I did. makes for a pretty painless install.
