Actually you make a good point. I've used bike-to-bike communication to help stay awake and focused.... and to also warn others of road hazards, etc......

Listening to music is distracting too... so is chewing gum while riding... guess we should ban those things too...

I'm not saying it should be banned, just saying there are different levels of drivers out there, and some shouldn't be talking and driving... Probably some shouldn't be driving at all. I know a few of those...

This is what I did instead.

I bought the Scalia rider for my intercom, gps and cell. A little pricey but not for everything you get. Basically gives ur helmet anything via bluetooth.
