DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTENDED SPYDERFEST? ACCORDING TO FACEBOOK, NEARLY 1000 HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE OWNERS' EVENT. SINCE I HAVE NEVER ATTENDED AN "OFFICIAL" SPYDER EVENT, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THAT IS CONSIDERED A LARGE CROWD??? I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MV GATHERING.

The 2011 owners event had about 400 or so.

It would not surprise me if the June owners event topped 800 folks. It's been two years and Spyder sales are still climbing through the roof. Also folks who bought Spyders earlier are getting more comfortable with them and going for longer rides. When I went in 2011 I could not find anyone in my area to ride up with now I have at least three definite and four maybes. Multiply that out and it could mean that the Owners Event could even pass 1,000 Spyder riders. Can't wait to find out!

I would expect there to be a large crowd, for sure. I went to Durango last year and while there was a large contingent, I know of some that went to Spyderfest but were not going to make that long trek out there. I think Maggie Valley will draw many, many more due to the location and the fact that there are probably many more riders in this part of the country. I can't wait to get up there!!

An added plus is that Lamont moved his BBQ so many that would have attended that are combining both and we will all have a great time.
