How are painted panels holding up?

I'm thinking of having some of my panels painted, and I'm wondering how that's working out for others? Any paint loss after time? Fading? Any cautions, suggestions or recommendations?

Pay extra for clearcoats (2+). 6,000 miles and mine are doing fine. No amount of clearcoating will hold up against 100mph rocks though so be prepared for light touch ups.

Also, only use red paint. Everything else melts off the Spyder into a pile of ugly. :joke:

I've already got chips, a rub through and flaking paint on my BRP factory finished panels. Custom paint can't perform much worse. :dontknow:

Good to know yours is doing fine. Of course it's going to be red, to match my other Spyder...

Good point. Mine has a couple of rubs already, too, and I've only had it less than a month.:sour:
