• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Houston... We Might Have A Problem...

Thanks Tom...
I cleaned all of the "wahdering oil" off the side of the bike...
In between coughing myself unconscious, and blowing my nose; I jumped up and down and generally hassled the shock. :D
No seepage; no weepage.. :dontknow:

 Lets hope. Tom :trike:

Are you sure its the shock?
Could it be a leak in the brake line or coolant?
Line could have a leak if it was rubbing somewhere
My dealer found a coolant line rubbing and fixed it so it could not rub anymore
Just a thought

Bob
Have you been able to go out ridding since you found the oil on your bike?
If so any more leaks?
If it is a brake line it would not show up until you use the brakes.
Pin hole coolant leak may not show up until it is at running temp
The fan reversal might pull things forward so you could find a leak a little behind the shock area
Keep us posted
Good luck
Don

It's been too rainy...:banghead:
and I've been too sick...
...For any riding...:gaah:
A buudy of mine offered to come down to the office with a Shop-Vac, and a long hunk of tubing... we figure to suck the :cus: out of my lungs that's making this such an interesting situation!
If we do this without killing me in the process; it'll be Youtubed: for sure! :D

I don't know about my lungs
But I wish I could let the air out of the spare tire around my middle
The weather must be getting better back there
So you need to get better soon
You've waited a long time to put some miles on your new 2014
