• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like to but my daughter is coming in from Germany to spend a few weeks before she deploys to Afghanistan. Please post news of future get togethers and I'll try to make it then.

Thanks, Tony

I see the Dr. on the 17th and should get an idea then. Then its just $2k worth of stuf on the bike and Ill be set! LOL

I will be there but maybe in a car

Took my SE5 for 600miles service plus recall. The good news they agreed to do the coil grounding update/upgrade. Bad news, they need parts backordered for that and for the oil change:gaah:

I hope it will be ready by Friday. Otherwise I will drive there and look for the coolest party in the place, that have to be you guys.

Taking my in this Friday for the recall update and an oil and filter change. Hopefully, it'll be running right for Saturday's meet/eat.

Back on three wheels...

Rescued my Spyder from the dealer since it was sitting there waiting for "parts" (a filter and a cable to do the coil ground wire upgrade). I will ride with it Saturday:yes: and hopefully complete the service and recall next week:dontknow:. See you there. I will send those going PMs with my cell phone.

Greater Houston Reunion – The true chronicle…

Great lunch in Live Oak Grill, Southwest Houston today. Glynnk, Arch, Batmobile and I where there. We believe Littlejohn tried to make it but its little tricycle was turned around in the beltway and could not come.

Glynnk and I discovered the hard way that it takes at least three wagons to make a circle, but once Arch joined us we could hold the lookers. The whole situation de-escalated once Batmobile joined. Four Spyders!

Discussion covered all kind of topics. The typical Spyder stuff: mods, the recall, BRP service, the sound of the Hindle, why SpiderLovers.com rocks, how to get Lemont to visit us etc. We also discussed some specific Texas issues like the best way to place a EZpass and how to tie a deer to the little Spyder hood. Food was good and company even better.

Spyder owners are a great bunch. We will organize more of these. We hope we can get a few more of you to join. Thank you Glynnk for the great idea.
