There's a company called Cool Ass that makes a cover to protect the seat from the sun and can also serve as a rain cover. I used it last summer and it did a very good job keeping the seat cool during a lunch break on a very hot NC day.

Need to know...

thing is are we talking about engine heat while ryding or heat from the sun while parked. As mentioned above there are many sun protectors "All things three" has some nice ones. If from engine heat there are mods done by brp for the 2013 RT's and can be retro fitted to other RT's back to 10's. Then there is stuff you can do like wrap the pipes, replace the airbox etc....:thumbup:

Try adding the BRP air scoops. I have and they keep the glove box and seat very cool. I have 2014 RTS SE6:bowdown:

The scoops were part of the 2013 heat recall. They can be added to ant RT buy them from your dealer.
