• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hot Rod RSS?

Fellow Hot rodders. I could use a little of you expertise here. I have a 2011 RSS-SE5 (LOVE This :spyder2:) After reading many post on what you folks have done I have chosen and installed the following.. HMF carbon pipe W/O2 modifer. The pipe is loud but sounds awesome. The RSS runs well no pop on decell or under load. There is some slight hesitation off the line but the midrange & top end are strong. ( pulls hard from 6000rpm up to 9000) I have the Green filter but have not yet installed it.

1. Do you think I should install the air filter? :helpsmilie:
2. Should I invest in the juice box? :helpsmilie:
3. Whats better JB or JB Pro??? :helpsmilie:
4. Is it possible for thr Y pipe gaskest to fail in only 1000 miles???

Thanks fellow Hot Rodders:doorag::doorag:

I'd say some have had the Y gaskets fail as low as 4k and average around 6k miles.

JB Pro seems to be what everyone is buying these days. Older JB is better value. JB Pro comes preloaded with maps for the Spyder, but only in reference to Two Bros pipes, and stock air filter...

By all means, yes... Install the filter.

I would do a JB before or with the filter, I've burnt Y gaskets in as little as 1200 miles but when that happens it means we are way way too lean:yikes: So if your burning them before I'd say 2500 miles you need a JB and if you have a JB richen her up;)

I have a RS-S I have installed a two brothers dual carbon exhaust I have tried the the juice box pro and then I switched over to the power commander I found the P C to be more reliable and it seems to me that the bike rides and shifts much smoother and quicker. (I have not done any sort of filters)

I did the Juice Box Pro,Green filter and have the Two Bro dual can pipe and it runs awesome no problems. Right now I am still running with the stock O2 sensor with no problems have to see if that changes. :2thumbs:

go on and put on the air filter the 02 mod will take car of those two things no need to spend moore money on the jb.:2thumbs::D:chat:
