• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hot foot

Today, I rode my spyder to the beach. Not far 3 miles, wasn't going to ride long. So I had my sandal's on.:dontknow: I met some friends and they wanted to go for a ride. My right foot is a nice shade of red:yikes: with two white strips. I have to install a air deflector so my foot doesn't get that hot anymore.:chat: It's all about traffic and the stop and go. Not bad when driven on the highway. I know, I know. I shouldn't wear sandal's when riding.

Buy a $3 plastic 3 ring binder. The flexible cover is great for extending the cowl scoop. Rivit a piece to the scoop and it'll send more air out the side openning. Others have added foam to completely seal that bottom openning. You can buy the spider web from Mel's Garage, and add a Radio Shack fan behind it, that will suck the air from the area behind the radiator and push it out the side openning.

I fixed the problem with a piece of sound and heat installation to close the hole under the scoop for the fan. I had it left over from car project. A little glue and a couple of tech screws paint the silver black. Tomorrow I'll rap the exhaust pipes with header pipe heat raping. That should stop a lot of the heat.

I met a man today with a SE5. He took plexiglass bent it to the same angle as the side panel (rear) cut to fir panel pattern. Drill hole that lines up with rear panel bolt and notched out where it comes in contact with his KewlMetal hwy mounts. He said no more hot foot. Sorry no pics. I didn't have my camera.
