• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Horse country Ride Sept 28th 2013

It's getting to be that time of the year for riding in Florida. I like to set up a ride this time of the year for those that like to take a slow ride through the horse country in NW Marion county. The ride will start at Wildwood ,FL at 10 AM on Sat OCT 5th. as of right now. Carol and I are going out this Saturday to check out the route, if any one would like to ride your more then welcome to join us, well be at the Burger king at the jct of I-75 and SR 44 west of Wildwood at 8 AM. Right now it is about 70 miles long ending up at I-75 an U.S. 27. in Ocala. It will be around two an a half hours long.

Ah crappo, Syl and I are going to be doing a family thing at Daytona that weekend. You folks enjoy. BUT good Lord willing we will be seeing youse at Bikefest in Oct.

Sorry everyone but I just remembered that I had a prior commitment that I forgot I had for that week end. So we will set up the ride for the following weekend Oct 5. I hope this is all right with everyone.

I will be there and estimate being accompanied by 8 to 10 spyders from SRA CFL group.. will give you firm count as we approach the date

Up date on the Horse country ride.

Carol and I went out an finished up the planned route this morning,:yikes: The ride is a 100 mile, ride time 3 1/4 hour with a 45 min brake :chat: in it. The ride Starts in Wildewood,Fl, ending up in Ocala,fl So the Date is Oct. 5th Time 10AM at Burger King I-75 and SR 44 Wildwood. Feet up at 10:30AM sharp. Lunch will be at the ended of the ride at Big Rascals BBQ 3437 NW Blitchton RD Ocala 34475 ( JCT of I-75 & SR 27) for those that would like to meet up just for lunch and not go on the ride. Lunch will be aprox. 1:30 give or take a few min. The speed on the ride will be slow to med. being we will be on country roads. If you haven't been on one of our horse country rides be sure to bring a camera with you. For those of you that are in other parts of Fl. and would like to make a over nighter of it there are motels in Wildwood and more to choose from in Ocala along I-75. Its just 30min ride from Wildwood per interstate. Any other question feel free to ask. I'm posting a few pics we took today along the ride to give you an idea of what you will be seeing.
