Hope this isn't a sign of things to come

Just noticed my 2013 RSS's left rear running light isn't coming on. The right is fine and the left only works when the brakes are applied. I only have 410 miles on the bike. Ugh! I hate to run it to the dealer (2hr drive). I searched around the forum for this…I know it sounds stupid…But whats the easiest way to get to the bulb to change it?

Try this..!!

owners manual...if you have the back rest assembly by brp it is a bit harder. Well a lot harder. First check the connection hard to tell if it is working when brake light is on unless you look into the bulb and see if both fillaments are lit. If they are then there is a connection problem if not then its the bulb...:thumbup:

:agree: And save your receipt... you can always give it to the dealer, the next time you visit... It should be covered by the warranty! :thumbup:

Thanks all! I replaced the bulb; issue resolved. Funny thing is the bulb elements looked fine. Oh well - all fixed. I will bring the receipt to the dealer. I am at 460 miles as of end of today, so I will be seeing them for my 600 check up soon.
