• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No! you had it right the first time Dave demo races is right!!! Its on:thumbup: we will have two rs's all completly stock, right out of the box, no mods. Its the only way we can make it work with the insurance and be fair without a light setup Driver skill only! :2thumbs: We will need a few volunters to help get it all together.....night race?r day race? and now just to find the right time to make it work....I'll send ya another pm Lamont have a few more questions and let you look at the form.

While the 'demo' race idea is okay for most --- it really doesn't work for us true Huligans.

Those that have made various mods for speed and handling want to put them to the test! Not to mention riders like Seth that won't be able to ride one of your 'Demo' bikes.

Even for an 'Autocross' style handling competition --- I'd want to do it on my spyder...as I know how mine feels and handles. Jumping on a stock bike could cause a crash if it won't do what I'm accustomed to being able to do with my Spyder.

I suppose we can just go off in the country and do it Huligan style if we must....;)

There could to be a "Two Event" solution (IMHO):
1. Sanction event: demo RS's, parking lot and cones, max 40 miles/hour.
2. Non-sanction event: Hooligan style, like in 2010.
How are you going to fit Seth on a bike? How many classes of modifications they are? Turbo, race airflow, O2 modifier, JB and JB Pro, 3 classes for aftermarket shocks, 45, 50 and 55 tires, how heavy is the bike...

For those who want The Pit Bull Buggy to sponsor an all-out race:

1. Everyone needs to understand the huge liability involved for him, his company and his family in the event of injuries or death. It is virtually unlimited.

2. Liability Releases only serve as a defense... not as an absolution of liability. It is still there in a very big way.

I hate to be a wet blanket but there it is. nojoke

Does that T-Bird of your's even go fast enough to get hurt on? :roflblack::joke:

I'm wondering if Len can setup a place where we can let the Hooligan's legally race? I was thinking maybe a track and a dragstrip. What do you say Len? :2thumbs:

I haven't been on site in a while but it looks like I am coming back at a good time. Maybe I can get away with racing again this year if it is going to be legal and all. LOL I have to keep my Hooligan status after all.

Len,
I'm in and I'll help.

Lots of ideas mentioned here but for it to be a true HULIGAN event, its run what you brung, arm drop start grassroots drag racing. Too much planning/rules takes the fun factor out of it.

I would hate to see it become like NHRA/NASCAR and someone to want to have an engine teardown to see why they lost...LOL:yikes::yikes::yikes:
