Hooligan Race track????

I'm wondering if Len can setup a place where we can let the Hooligan's legally race? I was thinking maybe a track and a dragstrip. What do you say Len? :2thumbs:

The trouble is Hooligan and legal are, by definition, mutually exclusive terms...

This seems unfair, some have highly modified Spyders. I would rather see it geared toward rider skills.

If your racing at a Drag Strip, They can even things out with the timing lights. [handicapping] You'll be surprised how close the Spyders will be at
traps [end] Horsepower won't mean so much , But reaction time will.:2thumbs:

F it on the classes for this year, I would just say get it so we can race to start with and go from there.

I see what lamont means by timed races, places are alot less wary of one person doing a timed run then all of us thunderdoming it into the turn 1, Me of course would LOVE to thunderdome into turn 1 but lets just get established.

I would volunteer time and I am sure you could get at least 10 ppl that would as well just to do a basic 2 mile course or what not, drag racing is fun and easy to setup but I think we have reached what we can do that too.

Many years ago during my Drag Racing days at Westhampton NY,
I took top Eliminator,The last car i had to beat, a gas altered hit the traps
at 166 MPH, My car a 68 Charger slightly modified did 118 MPH i won that
race. It's called Handicapping. Done right almost every one is just about
equal the last few feet.

this is a example of something we can do where it can be in a area that everyone can watch and it can show what the spyder can do and it would show what upgrades help were.

I think with about 10 ppl helping out we could do something like this, just need the cones and a large parking lot.

Just need timers and people to watch.. and of course some random kickass prize.

Look like the only way we are going to be able to pull this off it for CowTown to provide the Spyders. They will be stock and you'll be able to swap Spyders if you feel one is faster than the other. This will give everyone a fair chance it's very nice of CowTown to provide these for us. You will need to sign all the paperwork just like if you took a demo ride.
