• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Honda Valkyrie owners

I've been on SL since last November and noticed something that interests me. There seem to be a lot of Spyder owners that are also Honda Valkyrie owners or they are past Valkyrie owners.

It must be the mind-set. The interest in slightly different machines rather than the run of the mill V-Twins.

When I bought my RT-S, my wife said I could keep the Valkyrie. Got to love the girl! Now she rides the Spyder herself and I'm back on the Valkyrie. If that was her plan, she's a lot smarter than I realized.

How many Valk owners are Spyder owners now?

I've had a Valk for about 7 years. WONDERFUL MOTORCYCLE. If my wife did't have vertigo , it would still be our touring ride. PLENTY of horses and torque (still stock ) .

I think I loved my Valkyrie a bit more than I love my Spyder but it is close.

If I still had it I probably wouldn't ride it much.... but it would be nice to look at it from time to time.

I ride a Valkyrie and my wife has her STL. I had a 1999 Interstate for 12 years, but I just sold it and bought a new Valkyrie with the 1832cc engine. What a beast. It has power to spare, but I spare non of it. I need it to keep up with my wife.

The new ones are freaking awesome. Test drove one before I got my Street Glide.
