• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Honda trike...some interesting photos

Gotta say..!!

Just doesn't move me like the spyder did. Although we are apparently the minority being RS ryders I love the simple out in the open by the seat of your pants bugs in your teeth ryding. I accept the RT's but bigger than that with more comforts of home I'll just stay in my car. Not to say it's not a good looking machine...:dontknow:

Honda is not know for their beauty! I was so anxious for their big red side by side ATV to come out and when it did:yikes:! But you sure can't beat their reliability!

Honda won't make a move unless:
They feel that the market is large enough to support the effort with profits
They feel that they've got the machine to make the major statement, and become the leader

Time will tell...

But as cool as they are; don't you get the feeling that licensing them might be an issue?
Once you pass over to the four-wheeled side of the street, I think that a lot of different rules apply! :yikes:

The Pennsylvania DOT vehicle code defines a motorcycle as having not more than three wheels.
I put a Voyager kit on my Harley following some medical issues, and had the local PD inspect it. Some in other states had issues, but no issues here with the add on.
I see the Hannigan Roadster conversion adds 520 pounds to the weight of the Gold Wing.
And it does not appear either conversion in this thread has an operable frunk.
Nice exercises in engineering though!

HUMMMMM...

The GW trike kits of old don't handle like the Spyder. This is a copycat effort or kit that just isn't appealing to me as a Spyder owner and a person that has logged a lot of miles on a GW. They would have to re-invent the rest of the frame and body styling in order to compete because it still looks like a GW from the handlebars back. They should just leave the GW alone. It has it's place and they are a great bike. Just not for me anymore..

As usual, I have a slightly different take from most of the group.

This is obviously an aftermarket kit build from a company in the Netherlands. I did not find a price, but did not look beyond the pictures posted.

I like it--a lot--specially the teal color. My problems, probably $10-$15K more for this. Dealers in US mostly will not work on triked Goldwings, and I am guessing that would also void the warranty on the GW.

Were they available from the factory, were not to much more expensive than the :ani29:, and had warranty and dealer support--I would have at least one in my garage.

I would like to take one for a spin. I think they look pretty interesting. I'm not going there to do ride one though.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
