• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Honda Neowing vs Can-am Spyder

Blacklightning has got it right. Since BRP dropped the RS theres no 'sports' Spyder with the right ergonomics for me so when my Spyder wears out I'm going to have to go back to two wheels unless there's something like this out there

Exactly my feelings. In the next couple of years I'm going to be in the market for a new bike. If BRP doesn't come through with a model that has more RS style ergos. Then I'll have to look elsewhere. Personally I like the Neowing but I'd have to ride it to know if I'd buy it.

My guess is they're just keeping their patents up to date. I've owned two Honda Dealerships and Honda is always late to the game and that's when times were good and everyone could sell anything. Times are lean now and I don't see this coming to market anytime soon. Honda still has a bad taste in their mouth from the lawsuits from the ATC days. nojoke

are the Honda Bikes pretty much problem free like the owners claim. Is the service departments better trained in most shops?

I have owned four Honda's. Never had a mechanical issue with any of them. Oil changes and just ride em.

I've owned numerous Honda's but, though reliable, like any bike they are not perfect. For example one of them lost 1st and 3rd gears not long after it's first service - ended up being the most unreliable bike I've ever owned (and I've had old British bikes so that just shows how bad it was:-))

....and for those who moan about stupid design decisions on a Spyder haven't had to maintain a Honda VFR750, in particular change the front spark plug:-)

Anyway like Rob my RS has probably got another couple of years left in it. So you never know, BRP may have filled the gap in their line-up by then.

sold my 98 GL1500 with 120,000 miles on it only had one problem, besides regular maintenance, a vacuum line cracked. I can only hope the spyder does this good.

Now the "S" mode is available for the 2017. I am hoping the turbo charged would be fit into play. I guess this would be a better competition for the rest of those trikes. I do love my Spyder.

You won't see the Turbo model for a long time; if at all! (IMHO)
That was just done as a marketing tool, and was used to promote Can Am's involvement in NASCAR racing.
The engineers were turned loose, just to see what they could do.
