• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We left Tucson on Monday, and gave my brother a ride to Yuma, then headed to Las Vegas to visit our daughter and her family. We arrived there in the early evening, so we spent a couple hrs. with them before heading to our room for the night.
Next day was spent visiting and seeing a few of the new casinos. Wed. we took the spyder down the strip for a photo opt.
I have to thank my grandson for some great pics of the Spyder and the strip. I think he did a great job while enjoying the ride.
He took a great picture of the Spyder and I, in front of Paris Hotel and Casino for me. I worked as an electrician, on this hotel for over a year while it was under construction, in '98 and '99, so it's always nice to come back and see it. We'll be leaving here on Fri. and heading home to Iowa. The snow is gone, and time to get the lawn mower out.

:2thumbs: Great shots thanks . We love Vegas, try and get there at least twice a year. We have timeshare there.

Take your time and plan your route along I-44 and come to the CUBA MO event next week-end 16-18 April.. I know that gives you a week but just drive slow and it will take you a week to get to CUBA.. It's somewhat along the way if you plan it right, but everything is ALONG THE WAY right???...

Well this was the day we have to leave Vegas and get on the road for home.
Wow..... What a day this was........

After loading the spyder, we headed for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. My daughter and family surprised me with a ride with the Richard Petty Riding Experience. What an experience that was....... :yikes: 165mph in the straight aways, and 135 in the corners. :yikes:
I have to say, ........try it if you ever get the chance........ my driver floored it all the way around the track and those corners come up fast, even on a mile and a half track........not to mention how close you hug the outside wall.....
Anyway, had a great time, and said our goodbys with a tear here and there, then jumped on the I-15 and headed north.......
