• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update Reservations

I just booked my room at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Sherbrook. It was $128 CAD ($96 USD). It is a great hotel on the same strip as the other hotels. Anyone else staying there?

Chris,
When are you planning on pointing the snout of your bike North?
(I've got to make the trip on Friday...)

Right now I plan on arriving in Sherbrooke on the 31st. I don't have any real plans so I can adjust those dates based on if anyone wants to ride up there together. Friday is too late...you need to plan on arriving Wednesday or Thursday with everyone else!!!

 This entire "Career Thing" gets in the way of that... :banghead:
I'll be in Drummondville: we'll have to plan on meeting for a meal!

I hope to see you for more than just a meal. We need to re-ignite the East Coast Posse and take over Quebec! And the "career thing," you can't plan a couple days off 7 MONTHS IN ADVANCE!?!?!

 You don't understand: I've got to get my plans past the Missus! :yikes:
She's the other-half of the Office, and it's tough to leave her alone in here for much more than a day at a time. nojoke

So close the office for a couple of days. Aren't you entitled to a vacation at some point, especially planning it 7 months ahead of time? Can't work until you drop dead.

Therein lies the rub...
When our policyholders need to have us do something for them: "not being here"; isn't an option.

Get a laptop, smartphone and put a server in your basement. hey, it worked for Hillary, why not you?:roflblack:

 I don't look good in Prison Orange... :yikes:

Thats getting a government job the hard way. On the utter hand you're rent, meals and health care will be provided!

. . . . Wait . . That's sounding like where we're all headed! (oops, I accidentally went all political.)

I get it; I was an independent IT consultant for several years so I understand needing to respond to clients. But Chris is right; with a laptop and an Internet connection there isn't much you can't do, including sending and receiving faxes.

I've already made my reservations, and I honestly don't know if they can be modified... :dontknow:
I might have to sleep on a floor somewhere; my first night in Canada! :D
