There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
I actually got into an argument with my father in law on the way home from Daytona. He wanted to ride in the left lane, only doing 5 mph over the limit and did not care that he was backing up traffic. He stated there are 3 lanes and they can go around, but I am not riding in the middle lane because I get buffeted by the wind too much. I suggested he ride in the right lane, but he wouldn't have any of that. :dontknow:
Cool! If things work out with my schedule, and I am able to go to this, I will get in touch with you before hand. Perhaps I can catch you all as you head through SC and try to keep up.

Sorry if I offended anybody, I was making a cultural reference, nothing more. I don't think I made any personal attacks. It is a reality though that the word "FIB" is used a lot here is WI.
I have plenty of friends from IL and we still call them FIBs (as a joke of course).
If you have names for Wisconsonites, please share. I'm sure I'll have a good laugh!
does someone have the extact date? I will be there, in whatever lane I can go the fastest in. anyone else going from the great white north?
Driving in CHI town is the suck, I have played paintball there every year since 2001 and it was ******* to elbow in the center of town.
90 and 94 from the cities is like driving in florida, straight and watch out for Jonny law in WI, they hide in the trees and over the hills. just came thru there on the trip back from Florida.
Homecoming is just the name they gave the event. First one was called that for a reason, but the event caught on so well they decided to continue it...with the same name. At the same time they decided to make it easier for folks in different parts of North America to visit and participate, so they decided to move it around. It is not for anyone specific, and Chicago is very accessible to a lot of Canadian riders. For anyone to snub the event because it is not in Valcourt, or not in their own back yard, seems silly to me. The Chicago event should be sure to draw a crowd. We'll be there, with any luck at all. Hope to see a lot of you there, too.
:agree: I plan to attend from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is only about 500 miles (820 km in "real numbers - LOL) A day ride, long day but a nice one <grin>
It will be held in Wisconsin and we should have all the details by the end of the month or the beginning of April.
Thank goodness they took Fred Rau and my advice not to have it in Chicago. nojoke
