• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Home made arm rest

no they dont move

i love the idea.but how can a passager get in there seat if u have a back rest.cuz u have made it to wear the arms dont move right.ill look at pictures when i get home to see more detail cuz im on my phone..
chuck

my wife has tried it on for size and so have a few of the coworkers and i think from their smiles that they did not have any issues getting in or out the arms are so sturdy some grabbed hold and pushed on them to get off. they are just like desk chairs very solid.

and i am making a drawing to scale that i think anyone can use:clap:

you are either a pro or have too much time on your hands. they look great. just wondering if the same principle would work on a 08 gs. again great job and i would love to have a set of the drawings if you make them

I scored a couple of armrests from a chair at work that broke, even though it was fairly new.

I'd be very interested in the drawing of your plate. I sent a PM.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chilangolandia! Think my hosts took me to that stadium in 74, I drove the BMW R60/5 down there with a windjammer faring and came back unfared. Dealership paid me the price of the faring and some Krauser saddlebags for taking them in. Way more fun coming back without them. Gather you flew down there? Wonder how many Spyders in MX now?

pattern

here is the pattern and bolts used
bolts removed the original bolts from under set and installed two 8mm X 25mm used washer since i had to elongate the hole so i suggest dryfit before you actually cut your metal, with blue locktite, the other bolt is a 1/4-20 X 3/4 with a nylon nut.the second hole in the pic of the actual armrest, is original for the armrest.

the pattern is copied onto 4mm graft paper,

i hope this helps all
