Holy sh*t a dump truck!

Was headed down a 4 lane road, my son was behind me in the truck. I was in the left lane cruising around 40 mph. I was coming up on a stopped car turning left in front of me. I was keeping an eye on the front tire to make sure it wasn't moving. All of a sudden as I got up to that car, the dump truck behind it was aparently too impatient to wait and decided to go ahead make the turn...and turned right in my lane..didn't even see me. It was a split second decision...but I jerked the handle bars to the right and narrowly avoided getting ran over and possibly dying. The worse part was my son who was right behind me, who just about saw his dad die! We got up to the next light, and he pulled up beside me, said that was the best move he has ever seen! I just smiled and said "we need to get home asap so I can clean out my pants!" I wonder if I could have pulled off such a quick manuever on 2 wheels?

In just now beginning to see how quick these spyders are at quick sideways moves. I try not to hit potholes so I practice on quick maneuvers. When you get into a jam like that, your glad you have done it a few times. These spyders can change direction a lot faster than you think. Im glad you made it OK Gman.
