• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HOLY HAIL

Yes I have see that much and and more. 2011 a big hail storm came through. I was having breakfast downtown when it happened. It piled up about 3 or 4 inches deep. My SUV got $6,500 damage. Paintless dent repair guys did a good job getting all the dents out. Replaced the 3 year old roof on my house. All the plastic vents on the side of the house had to be replaced. Spyder was in the garage. No damage there.

Hail ya

I just got a hail of a deal on my new H&H enclosed trailer because of a hail storm.

yikes

it has been odd weather for sure ... had hail in texas , that was just a rain cloud to start with , temps dropped 30 degrees , did not last long , or stay around long after , heat went right back up !

I've seen worse. In '85, Cheyenne, WY got hit with a monster storm. A supercell stalled right over the city and went steady-state for about three hours. Twelve people died that night from the flash flooding. We got half the annual precipitation in one night.

The next day, there was a picture in the paper of a guy standing on a level patch of hail. Under his feet was a bit of red peeking through the pile of hail. The red was the roof of his car.

Here's a similar pic:
