• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Our group of 4 Spyders are planning a ride around the Cannosville and Pepacton Reservoirs on this Saturday, Oct 31st. starting at the Roscoe Diner at 11 AM. Chime in if you want to join us.

;) We wish that we could join you, but the Missus has Halloween events going on here in Town, that she's been a part of for years... :banghead:
It looks as if you'll have a GREAT day for riding!!

It looks as if I might have found you a fifth rider...

Thanks Buddy, glad to have the addition.
Looks like 7 Spyders now with a possible Wayne and Karen. Forecast is for a cold morning and partly sunny so I am wearing the thermals for this one.
May even hit the Roscoe Diner for thier homemade Chile and coffee afterwards ;)

Carl...
Now, it's EIGHT Spyders... It looks as if I'll be able to shake loose for the ride as well!!:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

It'll sure be a good day for some home-made chili!

OK, its great to see the interest in this ride.
I know it will be cold in the AM so Ed and I planned a sunny route along the Beaverkill river from Roscoe to Hancock. Then north on route 67 to the Cannonsville and onto Walton. We will be making a pit stop at Klinger Powersports in Walton before heading to Downsville taking the northroad along the Papaction to the bridge crossing. Onto route 30 west to 206 south and back to the Roscoe Diner.

Have a safe ride in, see you all in the AM :)

If it's not too cold

My wife and I would like to join the group. We would be riding up from Long Island. Is everyone meeting at the Roscoe diner? The ride up is just under 3hrs so definitely need to know where to meet. If we are not their by 11am go and enjoy your ride.

But a sad event RIP for an old friend will be at a Funeral in Norwich today. I enjoy riding on days like this as long as I have my cold weather gear. The bike just seems to run better in the cool range. Have a blast love that area for riding.:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Yes indeed its cold, woke up to 25 deg but the sun is up now and getting warmer. Understand about the wives, Val is a bit cranky also but is gearing up with some of her snowmobile attire. It may be a good idea to rig up our Spyders with a heated shield connector for next time ! ;)

Heading down the mountain soon.

Great Time Today

Thank You to all of you that joined today and braved the morning cold. By midday it got quite nice and Bob Denman took some upcoming photos at the Cannonsville Reservoir of our group. We spent a little more time than expected on a very nice sit down lunch in Walton and found that the round about on the Pepacton was better saved for another day.

This time of year traveling on a bike at dusk is risky, too many rutting deer running across the roads up here.

So maybe we can get lucky with another nice weekend day to finish out our ride.
