With some luck, you'll be able to tell us about a dealer that made a mistake (they all do), but then corrected the problem without making it a major issue for you.

I personally wouldn't threaten to out them here for the mistake, but rather give them the opportunity for us know that they stand behind their work!

Actually, being new to the Spyder line, I was truly hoping when I posted this that ya'll would say "The tire is supposed to be reversed on the Spyder!!!" And then tell me to read the manual AGAIN!!! That didn't happen!! LOL:joke:

It may be that they took the wheel in and the guy didn't know which side the pulley was supposed to be on. But if that's true, they should have asked.

With 50/50 chances, I always get it wrong. So there must be someone somewhere getting my other 50%!

Hey Jabbo, that pot in your avatar sure looks inviting. Next time I get back to Louisiana hopefully it'll be crawfish season. I'll come look you up and if I'm lucky be able to horn in on a real Louisiana bayou crawfish boil! :yes: That is one of the few aspects of Louisiana life I really do miss. Some others are Double D sausage, shrimp po' boys, and the occasional muffaletta!

WasWinger, Where were you from in LA? They make Double D right down the road from here!!! If it ain't crawfish season it is always shrimp season!!! C'mon down!!!
We burled them up this last Sunday. Still a little soft, early in the season. Dem sombitches were HIGH:yikes:!!! $3.99 a pound live!! I have never paid that much. I remember the day when we could get 'em for less than .50/#. Of course I have been around awhile!!

I do know the shop that installed the new tire but will not reveal that on this forum. I'm sure it was just a mistake (that I will have to pay to get changed). But I know that the work there is generally flawless. We are all human. I'm in a really nice mood today!!:banghead:

Yeah, it happens. The two front tires on my RT were on backwards, I found out, after I rode it home from the dealership.

Some call it a Reverse Trike which would mean that the tires should be reversed too. Makes perfect sense!

Good guess. But it's boiled crawfish with lemons, onions, garlic, potatoes, mushrooms hot dogs, sausage, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, oh and 80# of mud bugs!!

First time I ever ate crawfish it was a show. A coworker and I were in Shreveport back about 1988 doing an audit at an Army Ammunition Plant when we headed for dinner one evening. We saw a sign for fresh boiled crawfish so we went into the little restaurant on a back road.
I ordered a platter and when the waitress brought them out to me I asked, "OK now, how do I eat these?"

"You don't know how?"

"Nope, never have."

"If I had known that I would have talked you into ordering something else."
She took a few minutes and showed me the basics of eating crawfish. I entertained the restaurant crowd for the next half hour or so fumbling through the process, but I got them down! :yes: I came to the conclusion you would never get fat eating crawfish because the energy to open them up an get the meat out is almost equal to the energy contained within them! :thumbup: But boy, are they good!!!!

I lived in Hammond for 15 years working for the Dept of Energy Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Worked in the office in Metairie for 7 1/2 years and then at the Bayou Choctaw oil storage site near Plaquemine. We moved to LA from Illinois in 1991 and I retired in 2006 and came back home to Idaho. Retired on June 30 and had a U-Haul truck reserved for July 10! hyea:
