• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HMF Exhaust

I want to order an HMF muffler for my 2013 ST Limited. I went to the HMF site and noticed they do list a 13 ST. I also noticed that they list a diiferent part number for the RS. So I decide to call HMF and clarify the part number issue. They tell me the RS and ST have a different mounting. I do not at all believe that. He also tells me the 2014 STS pipe will not fit my ST Limited. Again I find that to not be correct. He then tells me they do not make a muffler that will fit my 13 ST:hun: Really.

For all you Spyder experts out there I just want to verify that the 13, 14, 15 ST & RS are the exact same mounting on the muffler.

In fact I look up akropvic and they only list one part number for all those years including the 13 RT.

I found a good deal on ebay for this muffler including a K&N air filter I want to purchase this item but it is again listed for an RS and I want to make sure it will fit my ST. AGain I am 99% sure it will but would like to verify that.
Thanks for any help.

Sorry..!!

They are right. The ST was a new model in 2013 and uses the RT muffler system. then the 14's had the new RT'. You do have to double check and make sure you are getting the right pipe for your year. :banghead:

The RS was also put in the new chassis in 2013 also and it was fitted with the CAT just like the ST.
If the RS and ST are different why does the BRP website list the exact same part number for the Akropovic muffler for all 2013 thru 2015 RS & ST.

Checking part numbers for oem and 13/14/15 each have a different part #. All have the same set up and mounting...:dontknow:
The RS has the same part #'s as the ST for 13/14/15. Now actually 14/15 are the same seems the 13 is different but they all seem to have the same mounting. Must be internal changes. The 13 RT has the same one as well. :dontknow:

Problem solved

NO HMF for me I guess!

Ordered the Two Brothers M5 off ebay today from Central Florida Powersports.

The guy is correct.
The limited comes with bags mounted might be one of the reasons why along with what others have posted already

But when you go to there website they show a picture of an STS with the BRP hard saddle bags installed and there own HMF exhaust on it. HMMM just like my Limited. I think that the folks at HMF are just not that knowledgable about Spyders.
Ya well there loss was Two Brothers gain.
