There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. HMF Exhaust???

Has anyone purchased an HMF exhaust for their Spyder yet? They appear to manufacture a nice setup for the Spyder, but I want to hear some testimonials before purchasing. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Do they make something Spyder Specific?

That's a nice look!

The carbon fiber looks good, too! +$100.

Had mine since the end of Jun, I like it seems a little louder than the hindle, looks great and about half the weight of the original muffler.

Just curious: In the photo it looks as if the original stock strap is used to hang the HMF--true?

They have recommended re-packing every 50 hrs or so. That's kind of ridiculous. I'm going to wait a little while longer to purchase this one, but I think this will be the one I get. It's nice quality and reasonably priced. I just want to make sure there are no major problems with it since it's a new exhaust...

I thought they had been out awhile. I pretty much made my decision during the USO run back in mid June. I followed a couple of Spyders with hindles and then I followed midnighthog who had the HMF and decided that was what I wanted. I'm running completely stock air and fuel and the dealer did not disconnect the battery although he did remind me to do it if needed. I get a little dead spot in acceleration until the engine gets warm and a little popping on deceleration but no worse than all the other aftermarket exhaust I've heard. I'm pretty sure the hanger strap is new and made for the HMF. As for repacking it probably will not happen since I also have a Valkyrie with Cobra six-packs minus all baffles and I love the sound. I'll attach a picture it might be a little easier to see the hanger.

Thanks Mo. I think I'm going with the carbon fiber version when the time is right. I'll also do a hi-flow air filter and juice box, unless a Power Commander V comes out by then. I wish Dynojet would put something out. The PC5 is superior to all other fuel management systems (IMHO). I just had the PC5 and Autotune on my 09 VMAX and I absolutely loved it! There was so much you could do with it!
