• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hiway pegs?

I have the original hiway pegs made by Matt at KewMetals. I tried every configuration available and now have them exactly right for me. I have 4000 miles with the pegs and they are the only way to go. Once you get them, be prepared to take some wrenches on the first few rides so you can experiment with different settings.

From the photos on the website, it looks as though the right foot is placed directly at the radiator outlet. Would seem to me to be too hot there. Can you clarify?

Thanks,

Your right foot does get a little warm. I use the 3" arm and extend it back a little further than the left and that seems to help. You could use the 3" and the 2" arms together with the 3" straight up and the 2" angled rearward. I tried that but it gave me too much height. The neat thing about the Kewlmetal pegs is they are so adjustable you can experiment until you get the fit that is right for you I have more trouble with my left leg/hip so I use the left peg the most. Good luck.
