• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hip and knee replacement

I'm not having one. I just work with those that do. I'm just curious because I've seen a number of posts about replacements. How many, that have had a hip or knee or shoulder replacement, continue with some type of exercise program after they are done with their physical therapy?

I was wheel chair bound for three years prior. I am taking mine low and slow. I hope to be in good condition by riding season (mid to late March). I am doing it my way.:yes:

I exercise daily for my health. The fact that I have two artificial hips has nothing to do with it.

When I worked outpatient therapy, I believe there were a few that took it low and slow, and we got to see them again after their joint manipulation, which in most cases was worst than the surgery. Of course my idea of low and slow may not be what you are talking about. Good luck to you on your recovery.

Right knee replaced May "15, still exercise at least 3 times a week. I am at the point I forget about my knee it feels so good now. But my recent pacemaker implant sometimes makes exercise difficult, so I have been slacking on length and intensity of exercise.
