• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just curious what the dealer is charging you guys for the Hindle Exaust?

I just bought mine this past Wednesday from my dealer when I picked up my Spyder. I asked the dealer if he had any Hindles hanging around; He in fact had a cancellation of a Spyder order which included a pre-ordered Hindle, and I got it for 10% off. (This dealer has given me 10% off everything I've ordered for my Spyder.) I mounted it yesterday; really nice deep sound.

I'll be getting my Hindle next week but the dealer said I have to sign a bunch of waivers (not to be used on the street etc.). Have any of you gotten tickets for too loud a muffler with the Hindle? It sounds deeper on the sound clip but it doesn't sound that much louder.

Signing waivers? Wow, I haven't heard of that before. Anyways... I don't think the Hindle makes the Spyder as loud as the thousands of Harley's that are cruising the roads. I suppose the exhaust noise tolerated depends on the state, county or city where you will be riding it. Here in mid-Michigan, many believe in the saying "Loud pipes save lives" and equip their cycles accordingly. :doorag:

The waiver may have more to do with the lack of catalytic converter than it does with the sound level?
