• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hindle Self-Install

Hi Dubaian,

The Hindle was my first self-modification. It was easier than I expected (I don't consider myself a handy person). The video on youtube was very helpful. The tricky part was putting back the spring (even then it wasn't that difficult). I used a needle nose vice grip and positioned myself to gain good access to the underside. Safety glasses are always a good idea. Good luck!

FYI, I do notice moderate "back firing" since I've installed the Hindle. From what I read, some fellow Sypder owners experience the same. My BRP dealer said it's common, not to worry and it's not damaging the engine. Dealer said it's due to a less restricted flow.

I don't notice the increase in HP...but that's because the Yellow Spyders are already very fast

I agree that the spring is the hard part...as far as popping goes, I put copper compound (high heat) over the connection with the pipe and that helped a lot...also, modifying the settings on the JB helped too...I get occasional pops, but it's not a big deal...

Remember to idle you bike for a while after the install...the ECU has to be mapped to the new pipe...

You'll love the hindle...it's a great pipe!
