• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed hwy pegs on my 2014 RTS. Gives a lot of options for feet placement, which is good for my old hips.

Where'd you get that extra little "heel-rest" from?
I just put a set of Baker Built's Highway pegs on my bike (in about the same position!), and that piece looks like a possibility...

Footpeg comes with heel rest. It is a Rivco product. I did have to reverse the heel rest to bring it in closer to the bike.

Modified Rivco pegs

image.jpgimage.jpgSo tech support at Rivco suggested I remove the mount hardware and bolt peg directly to the bracket to get it more in the position I needed. I did. The pictures show the before and after. I don't need the pegs to fold up. Ended up with two additional riding positions. Resting heel on floor boards or raise them to the peg only. I used a hex head bolt and washer and capped it off with a black chrome snap on. Better if you just find a 41/2" Allen head 5/16 bolt but had none available in my area. It works.
This will be nice next week when we leave for 10 day ride.
