• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

highway pegs

I have a 2010 rt, has anyone tried the highway pegs on their spyder, and are they worth the money. Would love to hear from someone. Thanks

welcome I rode a demo RT with highway pegs and it was good I liked it. I am waiting til winter to put them on my RS its just a nice place to move your feet.

I have an RTS and the Kewlmetal Highway pegs and I love them. Just enough to change position and relax abit.

Options/Pictures

I like the footpegs on my RT but it would be nice to have options to just move around on a long ride. Could you guys sent some pictures of what you have? Thanks

I "had" Kuyakyn widow pegs on my RS but they are poorly designed. They have a set screw that holds the peg to the mount and that screw has a tendency to back out. I lost 2 pegs. First time, it was because I didn't use Locktite and the 2nd because I probably didn't use enough.

Switching to Iso pegs which have a bolt that runs directly into the mount.

Hi Tonga. I own the Seal FloorBoards Co. that 8 Legged Freak says he loves so much. Please check them out on sealfloorboards.com. You can definitely move around on them.

Highway Pegs from Kewel Metal Good Idea but too short

The Kewl Metal highway pegs are a good idea and we had them installed and they are ok but need to be further out and up for a better true highway peg set up. The pegs are not the issue. They are still too tucked in and yes you do have some space to spread out but still not feeling like true highway pegs. There needs to be a redseign so you can actually almost extend your legs out to the side and more forward whihc would be comfortable. meaning new designed brackets to get around the issue of hitting those scuff guards or a panel down there. I did not speak to the designer about the deisgn on existing highway brackets and will as it makes sense.

For th existing Brackets for the pegs: They do need to design a right and left bolt set up/ threading, that is whay the right side has to be installed backwards (so you do not loosen the right ones when stepped on). The designer said he will work on this and never had anyone talk to him about this.

Anyway now if they can make them true highway brackets that feel better that would be great. the pegs are not the issue its the current brackets. Good product but not tested enough by riders that ride their Spydre RTS often and for long periods.

Seal Baords will do the job but need refinment in order to put on RTS

Seal Baords will do the job but need refinment in order to put on RTS. Need better look and style as it will stand out on the luxury RTS models. Tis could be the answer but needs to look better and be adjustable for a group of hrights and maybe some rubber or grip padding on the extended portion. So it looks like it belongs...and blends in a little more. :) Like to be your tester...

I am 5'10" tall and have the ESI Scuff Guards installed on my RT and they work great except for the heat on my right ankle. Definitely need to wear boots. I had Kuryakn on my SM5 and was not satisfied with them.

Any word form Matt? are they going to make changes to improve them? I dont need true highway pegs just something I can pivot out my foot some from the driver foot rests.
