Highway Pegs Inward 2014 RT

I made me a set of inward highway pegs.
They may not look the best but as far as functionality
there what I was trying to make that would work for me.

It will still fold forward on the brake pedal release on the
floor board on the right side.

The pegs are Kuryakyn 4575 Longhorn Offset Dually Pegs

How did you attach them to the running boards? Any pictures as I like what you did and may make a set for our
2014 RTS.

I used 2024 1/4 inch aluminum plate, mounted it with 2- 3/8
fine threads stainless bolts and stainless fender washers

I first made one out of 316 stainless just too springy
and to heavy for the large size it had to be.

Great idea, thanks for the pictures and info about using the aluminum plate.
I will use this idea also! I will powder coat mine black to match the trim and
already have some nice highway pegs.

I post these things here to share with others to see what could be done
or even copied for their own use.

As I've said before I'm just a backyard hobbyist and like to build things.

I'm not in competition with anybody especially Lamont, his new things
will be on the market soon and his quality I'm sure out passes mine.

Ive made many a thing in my day. Used to even build truck bumpers for our 4WD club. These look pretty easy, but I've gotten to the point in my life that it's sometimes just easier to support someone else doing the work....so looking to get a set from Lamont.

It is nice seeing posts like this though, so don't stop! :thumbup:
