• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High Speed Rattle?

I think I have some type of rattle at speeds of 70+. I don't hear anything rattling below 70. I can't be for sure. It may just be wind noise, but it sure is driving me crazy. I can't seem to find anything that's loose. Any suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for your input.

All screws and fasteners for plastics tight? Also check for any broken tie-wraps causing other things to be loose.

Remove your rear fender from its supporting brackets (like you were going to remove the rear tire). Check for stress fractures along the trailing edge. Mine were an inch long on both sides. These can not be seen without removing the fender.

When the rear tire bounces down the road, the fractured metal vibrates and rubs together creating a sound. In my case it was more like a squeak than a rattle, but then it may depend upon how loose the fracture becomes.

This may be worth a try. It only takes a couple of minuets.
