• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picking up my White Dark Saturday

WOO HOO !!
After 5 Months, I get to pick up my bike Saturday. This ended up being a Frame Off Repair. Good thing I had my second Spyder, but we will see how mine and the dealerships patience work out. Dealer has always done me good. The Spyder Tech is putting some extra miles on the bike this week testing everything out. I guess only time will tell how everything goes.

Now to settle with the insurance company !

Walking away is a good thing!!!! All of the rest is nuts and bolts!! Good luck to you, and have a speedy come back!!

What does a Frame off repair mean?

Everything hadta be taken off the frame to get that sorted before all the rest could go back on. Basically, it's a complete re-build, just using as many of the undamaged or repaired original parts as they can!!

Amazing, they didn't total that Spyder? BTW how is the arm doing?
:agree: I truly hope they got things squared away with you. I would really hate to have a new bike with such a serious blot on it when it comes time to have a carfax report done. But I understand. Typically they will not total a vehicle until the repair cost is 75% of the value of the vehicle. We had that to happen to use back in 2003 when a girl t-boned my wife and daughter in our 2002 Nissan Maxima. If they had included the cost of a rental (which I would hope they provided for you while your bike was in the shop), it would have been totaled.
But as a side note, you can possibly get what is known as depreciated value on your spyder. We received about $2k in compensation from the insurance company for that. Good luck, and I hope the arm is doing well.
