This started out as a whole closer to fact then fiction. Even in the last few years. When I started riving school, the supervisor said, behave on the bus or get a bus card. Get a bus card and your parents have to sign and give back before you ride again. ifnot, find another way to school. Before I left. The driver could give a bus card only by first filling a huge questinaire in the supervisor office, then they would mail the card and the parents had a week or so to return it and if they did not, the matter was dropped. The kid stayed riding the bus and causing trouble. I said, enough and retired
