When I was in 8th grade, (1983), my friend brought a bottle rocket to school, lit it in the schoolyard, threw it, and it exploded in his friend's face, damaging his eye for a week. He was ok.

No one got in trouble. And this was Catholic School.
I also used to bring in my Chinese Throwing Stars and homemade nunchucks routinely! We even hid Playboys in the schoolyard, behind a shed...

back when I was in high school... we use to light a cigarette insert the fuse of a M80 firecracker ... put it in someone's open locker who was not paying attention... and go to class... then a loud KABOOM.. lots of smoke in the hall.. of coarse an announcement over the PA system which said.. "ANYONE CAUGHT WITH FIREWORKS WILL BE EXPELLED" and that was the end of it... if that happened today... gosh.. I bet homeland security would be scurrying all over the place..

Seeing as I gave up birthdays when I had enough of them, I don't really know. I am for sure, but if you find out what age is the new younger age and you fall above that your there. As a kid 20 was old up to 50 you were a geezer after that you were just scary...:roflblack::roflblack: from your picture your no spring chicken but you haven't reached geezer status...:roflblack:

On re-thinking the subject...Maybe old Geezers should be those who are at least 5 years older than I? That makes it a moving target (as suggested above) and means I will never be one. :roflblack::roflblack:

When I was in high school, I was one of those guys who wore glasses, had a slide rule on his belt, and parted his hair on the wrong side. I've been a geezer my whole life. Back then we were called nerds though.
