There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does it seem to come from behind you and is accompanied by flashing blue lights?
For real though, I got 19' F3-S and the cooling fans hardly ever come on, even in summer when it is 100 degrees out, except when I stop a lot. Most of the time the cooling fans will not even come on going slow up the driveway and slowing down real slow for the gate to open. If it is in town with a stop light on every block that catches me for a long time, then the fans go on and off.
Maybe check the radiator fluid level if you think the fans are running all the time. My fans are not really high pitched and just sound like a car with electric fans cycling.

The sound you hear after shutting down is normal, it has to do with a solenoid staying active to keep something opened (or is it closed) for a while in the throttle body.
However, I doubt that you would hear that sound while the engine is running.

If I remember correctly that's only for the v-twin 990's. From the OP's profile, it appears he/she has an F3 that would be the 1330 triple.
