• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do the beams go when you go from High Beams to Low...its like someone is out there with a knife and cut them off. Any ideas? Don't mind riding at night..just want to be able to see ahead of me. Thanks

The lighting system is a shutter system. On "high" you get the full view. When you go to "low," a shutter comes down and cuts off a part of the beam. A lot of people drive with high beams all the time for that reason.

There should be an adjustment that allows the lights to be adjusted up or down.

The mechanical wizards will give more info, I am sure.

Let's see..!!

as mentioned above it is a shutter system. Depending on your model there are adjustment points. Should be in your manual...

I ride high beams all the time, just steer slightly to right when I approach a car.. Not one in 100 cars notice that they are high beams and I can actually see where I am going... I didn't always do this until I totaled my first spryer against the side of a trailer truck that was illegally blocking the entire highway crosswise with no lights on... If the high beams were on that night I might have had time to avoid him

That is good info. Rode my 14 RT LTD last nite for first time. When to low beams and didn't like it but didn't want to blind people with high beams. Thanks!!
