• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hiding places on the RT

I like finding hiding places on my new vehicles. One of the easiest is the little glove box above the tank, you can pull out that plastic tray and it is attached to a styrofoam insulation tray. A couple emergency bucks can go under there, never know when the bank will get silly and shut down your card because you used the card in 3 different states in a day. If you are careful the plastic shell is stuck on with double sided tape and can be removed from the styrofoam, nicely placed Velcro gives a safe place for a couple of prepaid gas cards and holds the plastic to the styrofoam nicely. Does anyone have other easy to use hiding place ideas?

Come on you guys your not showing him some love....

PS- I don't think to many Spyder thief's are lurking here.

Another hiding spot is in the frunk unzip the frunk liner where you owner's manual was when you first took delivery of your spyder. You can put some money, gas cards ,map book in an envelope and velcro it to the plastic frunk and zip it back up and you would not even know anything was in behind the frunk liner, but not any good for extra spyder key:yikes:

just found this thread which relates to this thread http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?32460-Spare-Key-Question

Glove box lid

I used velcro to attach a heavy duty plastice bag with my insurance card and registration to the underside of the glove box lid. Handy when needed but out of the way and weather proof. ;)

Just have to remember that the glove box doesn't lock unless you turn the wheels and lock them. That will lock the glove box. One thing I'm wondering to is if the heat in the glove box will damage the mag strips on credit cards.

Nice spot, I didn't even think of that area.

I've been using it for a while now and no problems so far.

NO NO it's ok, I worked at NSA before and the saying goes "If 2 people know a secret the best way to keep that secret is to kill the other guy that knows"..... This forum may have too many people to make that work:D

I have an unchipped key in a magnetic key holder and have it at the front of the spyder on top of the frame under the steering box has been there for about 25000 kms
