• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HID lit spyder owners....step inside (please)

Do your HID lights have a little flicker to them when you hit bumps? most noticeable at low speeds? Mine seem to have a fair amount of "bounce" to them. Didn't know if that is the nature of the beast having HID lights or not. Couldn't pin it down to one light or another and it didn't matter if the shutter was in the bright or the dim position. The housings are tight and the light bulbs appear to be tight in the fixtures. I have the BRP kit on a RS spyder. Just sitting still, I cannot get it to replicate the issue by merely beating on the side of the console. Thanks for your input.

Hmmm..... I was starting to convince myself that it was the nature of the beast. Wonder what I've got going on now?

Looks like..!!

an old incandescent bulb when the filament is about to pop. :agree: or some other interference. Have seen posts where foil has been used to eliminate problems with these HID's..hope you find a loose connection and that will be it..!!

It's not a blinking. It's like the bulbs are shaking. I tried tightening the bolts that hold the housings to the console and dropped a socket down into who knows where so I'll be tearing it completely apart again.

Tore it all apart. Found my socket. All wire connections good, there's a slight(very slight) possibility the right bulb wasn't completely tight. Otherwise, this is how it works
