• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HID lights

My wife ordered the HID lighting with her new RTS. I did a search for "HID" and didn't come up with anything. I was just wondering what other's thought of the factory HID light option.

$1k list for factory HID's... :sour: too thick for me. I am converting mine (Head and fogs) over once it warms up for the HID kits you can get from an American Company on eBay. Each kit is roughly $36.00 per unit. Check out Inspector Gadgets past post of this issue. :2thumbs:

The factory HID option is new for the 2011 Spyder RT. As far as I know, nobody has experience with this particular system yet. It is expensive, but if it works as well as the BRP option for the RS, it will perform well. There are aftermarket units that apparently will work for the RT, but none are turnkey options, as far as I know.
