• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HID ballast question

I have the HIDs that ESI used to sell. I tried to remove what appeared to be screwed on connections for the cable/wire attachment at the ballast. The connections just turn and turn and turn in either direction. So then I thought they were push on connections; still couldn't remove by pulling. Is there some trick to removing the cable connection? I didn't even bother with the other ballast.

New ballast should come with all wires and plugs attached........

Firefly,

Sorry for another question; but I buttoned my spyder backup. So, you are saying I should be able to follow those two cables attached to the ballast and at the opposite end there will be the plug type connection like you find for the rear signals and taillight? If that's the case, I'll open the spyder backup tomorrow and run my test.

Also, would you recommend the volt ballast from the site sponsor KBcarstuff?

Thanks
