May I introduce myself;
I am 45 years old and live in Antwerp Belgium - Europe with my wife and 17 year old daughter.
Driving 2 wheels since I was 16 and motorcycles since 18.
Had different bikes like Suzuki 500 GT (first one), yamaha xv750, Honda Cbx 750, Kawasaki 900 and 1000,
hardtail chopper Harley with 1942 engine, chopper kawa 1000, HD Roadking custom and now a 2007 BMW R1200RT. Mostly driving alone but wife and kid loves to come with me once in a while.
I never would sale my beemer for another motorcycle since I bought it new and it is great.
Till the shop manager decided to sell Can-Am and gave me a folder with the spyder... :edit: :
:bigthumbsup:
It blew my mind. At this time I am waiting since a week to test drive it (one more sleepless night left) and the
test will be decide if I will buy it. I already choose options and am also a week thinking which color I should choose. Normally I would go for the silver because it's a style color and I'm not see me riding on a yellow one because I'm not that sporty or never had real sport bikes. But the color is safer (more visible in traffic) and actually the spyder is more beautiful IMHO. It just doesn't blend with me for some reason. So the last week was a hell and I still don't know what to choose. I would take a Touring package but if its gonna be the yellow one I take also a sport windshield and yellow seat cover for riding alone. It just needs that. I have read the whole internet about the product, seen almost every video's available everywhere and know what to expect. Including the bad things a new product has. The concept and the stability is never seen on a bike and I am sure it's a totally new experience which give a lot of fun. The testdrive tomorrow will tell it al. Actually the decision is already made to buy one, but I have to drive it to be sure. I stumbled upon this forum in search for good information and I like this forum the most what's out there. A good helpfull administrator and good information.
I like to help people also so I hope to contribute at this forum in future, but again all will depend on tomorrow :doorag:
