• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have one of these and I want to add the block extension, HF doesn't sell it any longer, but I'm betting that its a knock off of one of the big boys, which do sell an extension. Any one know who they knocked off?

I can't give you a direct answer. I have a Jet 14" with a riser. I would suggest posting your question on lumberjocks.com I bet you will get an answer there.

Good luck! I love mine. I can easily resaw 11" if I need to.

Update: A friend had a jet kit that he couldn’t use JRB14. The block needed the 2 holes on the bottom enlarged a bit and he had ground off the studs but they weren’t in the right place anyway, so I drilled 2 new holes and added the studs. So that part went well. The guide post was 7/8” and the HF needed a 3/4” one, so I will need to get one and grind a flat part on one side so the screws that hold it in place have someplace to “grip”. So as soon as I get the post, I’m golden.

Now to replace all your old blades with new 105" ones!
Already ordered some

grizzly tools has what you need I believe.
I called Grizzly and they couldn't tell me the diameter of that post. The Jet post being 7/8" I have a friend with a lathe and we are going to turn it down to 18.8mm which is the actual size of this HF. Grizzly told me that every so often the Chinese change the part dimensions and they never know if a kit will work or not. I guess that is the price for having stuff made in China.
