• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello from Oklahoma USA

I just bought my first CanAm last week. So far I've added a driver backrest and have ordered a new handlebar for my too-short arms. I've also got some saddlebag liners ordered for the side storage. I'm pretty sure I'll be adding additional lights to the front of this F3 Ltd model. I've got a Brake Free that I need to get stuck on my helmet. My backstory: I started riding 2 wheels in 2001 at the age of 40-something. I've had several Yamahas, a couple of Victorys, several Kawasakis, a couple of Hondas, and one token HD. (That last one was to appease my husband!) One of the Hondas and one of the Victorys had Motor Trike kits on them. I've found that the wheels in the front definitely feel different than the traditional trike and it's way more fun! This Spyder is almost as much fun as two wheels:) I traded in a 1700 cc Kawasaki Nomad for the Spyder because, at age 70, I didn't feel like my upper body strength was what it should be for that heavy bike. No more pushing it out of the garage or holding it up at stoplights. Yeah! I've also noticed that the engine heat doesn't feel as bad as the Kawasaki, but then it was only 96 degrees the day I rode 2 hours home from the dealer in Wichita, KS. My son's girlfriend thinks it looks like the Batmobile so that's probably what I'll be calling it. I'm registered for a Spyder Rally in Tahlaquah at the end of September so maybe there will be vendors there ready to entice me to buy more bling:)

Here's my current dream: To have the long daylight hours of Summer with the cooler temperatures of Autumn! Having grown up in a rural county in Missouri where the 4-legged deer population outnumbered the human population, I don't like driving in long shadows let alone after dark! I like to see in advance what might be ready to jump out of the ditch into my lane.
