• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Morning All,

Coming to you live from Nova Scotia , Canada....

Thanks for the add. Just picked up my 1st Spyder...looking forward to it!
Coming off 2 wheels...I am perhaps one of the rare, but wanted my wife to come out more often, and she wasn't comfortable on 2 wheels anymore, so I made the move.
I picked up a 2011 with 36,000 km (22,500 miles)....I researched the crap out of them...and am aware of the advantages of the 1330, but I am into this without debt. I ran the vin, and previous owner had extended warranty and had the throttle bodies done....so fingers crossed I get lots of trouble free miles out of her.

Welcome to the forum Trevor. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On the new to you 2011 Spyder. You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum when you are able to. The 2011 Spyder is a good machine and I think you will like it once you get use to it. Take your time with it and get use to not putting your feet down when you stop and reaching for the hand brake that is not there. You will have to turn the handle bars and you can lean but the bike will not lean. Read the dos and don'ts above and just take your time relearning, once you have it down pat you will love the ride and get to see more things around you. I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
